Experienced CEO and Board Director with over 40 years in financial services. Brings deep expertise in corporate governance, enterprise risk management, AML compliance, operations, and strategic planning. Proven boardroom contributor with service on Audit, Finance, and Human Resources Committees. Known for sound judgment, regulatory acumen, and leadership through complex change. Well-suited for boards seeking financial oversight, ethical leadership, and strategic perspective.

 

Dave is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds both Bachelor and Master’s degrees in business administration from Taylor University, Upland, Indiana.  He holds diplomas in Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering from the International Compliance Association in conjunction with the Manchester Business School along with being a Bahamas Certified Compliance Professional (BCCP), Justice of the Peace (JP), Accredited Director by the Chartered Governance Institute of Canada (Acc.Dir) and a Society of Human Resources Management - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).

Dave has served at the Senior Management/C-Suite level with marquee financial institutions in The Bahamas, including, but not limited to, Credit Suisse, Royal Bank of Scotland, UBS Trustees (Bahamas) Ltd, Royal Bank of Canada, Fortis, Lloyds TSB, etc.

He has made invaluable national contributions serving as Deputy Chairman of the National Insurance Board, Chairman of HoldingCo2015 Ltd, Director of Be Aliv Limited, Board Member and Chair of the Public Hospital Authority’s Audit and Deputy Chair of the Finance Committees, Executive Vice President, Treasurer, Lecturer and Fellow of The Bahamas Institute of Financial Services (FBIS) and a Member of The Bahamas Association of Compliance Officers (BACO).  â€‹

Dave enjoys running marathons and reading in his spare time and possesses a mischievous sense of humor.
